Tottenham Will Be At Full Strength for Hearts

europa league tottenham v hearts liveSpurs assistant manager Joe Jordan has confirmed that the club will not consider fielding a weakened side against Hearts in their Europa League clash on Thursday.

The game will be the club's first competitive match of the season after missing out on the chance to get under way in the Premier League due to the riots in London last week.

With the Europa League starting so early in the season, it was thought that the club may opt to pick a number of fringe players and youngsters, but Jordan insists that manager Harry Redknapp will not take a chance by underestimating Hearts.

"I don't think that will ever enter the man's head," he was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

"He knows the difficulty of this game and he knows the danger of the opposition

"There's a certain balancing act you have to do, because we haven't played yet. We have this game, then we have a game on Monday, then Thursday and then Sunday."

The Scot, who managed Hearts in a three-year stint at the club, also confirmed that he has been keeping a close eye over their European opponents ahead of Thursday's clash.

"I watched the Rangers game, the European game at home [against Paksi], Motherwell, Dundee United and their last game against Aberdeen," added Jordan.
