Norwich and Liverpool in a drama at Anfield

premier league live betsLiverpool's team failed to win rookie of the English Premier League Norwich and drew 1-1 at Anfield in a very dramatic match. Craig Bellamy gave ahead of Liverpool in the 45th minute of the game at the end of a first part in which the hosts have created a clean dozen scoring opportunities but squandered them.

Reserve Grant Holt bring equality of "canaries" in the 60th minute, detecting excellent centering by Anthony Pilkington.

Luss Suarez missed a number of fine chances as his side stumbled against Paul Lambert's men and was roundly vilified by the visiting Norwich supporters for going to ground too easily.

However, the Scot has sprung to the striker's defence yet again, after having already offered the 24-year-old his support over accusations that he racially abused Manchester United's Patrice Evra in last week's grudge match at Anfield.

"There are people that question Luis Suarez’s integrity, but it's their integrity that needs questioning, not his," Dalglish insisted following the draw on Saturday evening.

"On the football pitch he’s exemplary, a classic footballer with the way he handles himself and conducts himself."

The Reds chief also insisted that he was pleased with his side's display, despite seeing them throw away a one-goal lead to a Grant Holt header after Craig Bellamy had opened his account for the season on the stroke of half-time.

The draw leaves Liverpool fifth, two points ahead of fellow top four challengers Tottenham, and Dalglish feels his charges deserved a victory against the Canaries. "On the balance of the game I think we deserved to take three points from it," he said.

"We played really well up to a point, created a lot of chances and there was some great passing.

"They hung on in and if we don’t convert our chances then we’re always going to give other teams a chance and they took it.

"Even then they came back and the goalkeeper's made a great save from Luis [Suarez] late on and big Andy [Carroll] could’ve scored from a header as well so we’re disappointed but I’m sure we’ll play a lot worse than that but still win matches.

"There’s a lot of disappointment because the boys played really well and I don’t think the point is a reflection on how they played. If they continue to play like that they’ll win a lot more games than they lose."
