Ajax coach Frank de Boer insists he will not prevent Christian Eriksen from joining Liverpool this summer if the midfielder requests a move to the Premier League side.
Eriksen, 21, has a year remaining on his contract with the Dutch club, but has been strongly linked with a move to either Liverpool or Borussia Dortmund.
The Denmark international's agent last week confirmed Eriksen is in talk with a number of clubs, although a move away from the Amsterdam ArenA has not yet been confirmed.
With Eriksen reluctant to sign a contract extension, the Eredivisie champions could be forced into selling their star to avoid him leaving on a free next season.
