A dramatic Eternal City derby ended all square with both Roma and Lazio unhappy at the end of a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico.
Hernanes gave Lazio the lead in the 16th minute and he had the chance to double their lead early in the second half when he missed a penalty.
Roma levelled from the penalty spot through Francesco Totti and were given a numerical advantage when Giuseppe Biava was sent off in the 66th minute, but they failed to make the most of the extra man and had to settle for a draw; ultimately a fair result.
However, the point does neither side much of a favour in their respective push for a place in Europe next season.
